Having a fun night out, for many people on the Jersey Shore, means traipsing from bar to bar and having to take a cab or hitch a ride home. This is accomplished by visiting one of the bars, taverns or other establishments that offers a class dealing with a class for fun paint and drink Jersey Shore homeowners have a ball at.

There are many of these drinking establishments that offer this fun evening out. You can paint a picture and have a few drinks. It only lasts about two or three hours and is less expensive than all night drinking parties are and more fun. This is usually because you can remember the evening in the morning.

There will be posters hanging on many walls, easily visible, that will tell you about the timing for the next several classes. It will indicate the times and dates. You will also be able to plan your schedule, should you wish to do so, because they will probably be held on the same night of each week.

You will also notice that listed on those posters, will be the wine selection. Many people schedule their attendance at these events by the availability of certain labels, vintages or vineyards being present. There is a notice about the availability of soda and or beer as well.

The thing that is noticed is that everyone is painting the same picture. It will have been picked out by the hosting artist. This may be listed on that poster you saw, or it may be left as a surprise for the evening. It may come from any of a rather large grouping of genres. It could be surrealistic, portraiture, scenic representations or even darker material.

Most classes are conducted in much the same way. The class will be called into session and all supplies, such as paint brushes, paint, and even canvasses are passed out. You will have an easel and will be instructed how it is set up and mount the canvass upon it. The artist will show the class the image they will be working on.

After a demonstration of the technique they used to achieve a certain look, color, or effect, the class begins heir interpretation of the same image. The artist will move through the class and help as they see it is needed. The drinks, such as wine is available throughout the class so that it will help everyone meet new people and loosen up for creative fun.
