Knowing All About Great Lounge Music

By Freida Michael

People often think about great tunes whenever someone mentions Tony Bennett, Dusty Springfield, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Peggy Lee, Barry Manilow, Wayne Newton or Tom Jones. These individuals are the first creators of lounge music which could be heard on elevators all across the world. Sometimes these particular tunes are also played at special events which happen on a daily basis.

Fortunately Tony Bennett is still alive and well and he has been playing these great tunes all of his life. Mr. Bennett recently did some duets with famous artists who are under the age of sixty. This is a great male who has been around for more than eighty years and his tunes are often played within a dentist or doctor's office. These types of sounds help the patients to relax while the skilled professionals are giving them an examination.

Fortunately the younger people living in America and other places have started to buy and record Mr. Bennett's songs whenever they get the opportunity. Tony's female counterpart was named Dusty Springfield and she was one great lady who knew how to belt out a tune. The musical version of "I Only Want To Be With You" is quite entertaining to hear whenever a person is riding upon an elevator.

The older generation was very fascinated by Dusty's songs and they enjoyed listening to her great voice which could be loud or soft. "What Have I Done To Deserve This" was a hit song done by Dusty Springfield and the very popular "Pet Shop Boys." The duo invited Dusty to be their special guest star on this entertaining song which sold millions.

Many businesses have done an instrumental of this song and it currently plays within many office buildings. Frank Sinatra is one dead crooner who made all the women swoon many years ago. He had many hit songs which were played on the radio and within different working environments.

Frank Sinatra was a man who had the deepest bluest eyes that anyone had ever seen. Mr. Sinatra also performed with the "Rat Pack" many years ago and this group loved to visit Las Vegas. A British native named Tom Jones was also part of the Nevada scene in the past.

The female fans could not control their emotions whenever Mr. Jones came upon a stage. These crazy women would take off their panties and throw them onto the stage during the show. Tom was always a gentleman in public and would continue with his performance even though he was very aroused by these women. One particular saloon singer named Wayne Newton never had to deal with insane fans while he gave a performance.

People think of Wayne as a family friend since he has been living in Nevada for such a long time and has made many connections. Fortunately he was able to sustain a successful career for many years since he is a great human being who loves to sing soft melodies.
