Why America Needs Chicago Actors

By Jerri Perry

Chicago actors are great people and they really know how to entertain an audience. These are very skilled individuals who have worked their way to the top while enduring many personal struggles. People are very familiar with Sean Hayes, Gillian Anderson, Dennis Franz, Fred Savage, Jim Belushi, Robin Williams, Dennis Farina and Barbara Bain.

Everyone loves the talented Sean Hayes since he is always laughing at himself and others. Illinois residents welcomed this performer almost forty four years ago and they are happy that he is in this world. "Will And Grace" proved to be his best acting performance since this show handled gay situations. Sean never would tell anyone if he liked boys or girls.

After some time had passed he finally admitted to a magazine that he did indeed prefer men over women. Before the interview he had played a straight character in a Broadway play and critics really hated his performance. They stated that Sean was not masculine enough to handle the role or the show's leading lady.

This went on for some time before the show was finally canceled. He came out because he wanted to be happy during his lifetime. Many people accepted his decision and he went on to produce and star in several other television series. He is currently playing a single dad in the American show "Sean Saves The World." Unfortunately the series was recently cancelled.

There is one resident of Illinois who is funnier than anyone else that is around. His name is Robin Williams and fans everywhere know him as Mork from the planet Ork. He enjoyed his fame on the hit ABC television series "Mork And Mindy" before moving on to many movies. Robin did stand up comedy before entering into the television and film world.

Real life detectives are very intrigued with Illinois born Dennis Franz who gained recognition on "NYPD Blue." Mr. Franz loved to show off his large body to the fans during many episodes. He did not mind being nude if the script called for this request.

Everyone who watches "Saturday Night Live" remembers John Belushi's younger brother Jim. This man stayed with the comedy program for a few seasons before moving on to films. He has not been as famous as his brother John but he has gained many fans.

Chicago actors really love Ms. Barbara Bain since she is such a beautiful and graceful woman. She has entertained Americans for decades and was the only lead female featured on "Mission Impossible" when it first aired. Barbara was surrounded by good looking masculine men and her husband Martin Landau was part of this group. Producers were very upset when she and Martin left the series since they could not find a qualified replacement for Barbara.
