It is likely to be a huge success based on gross revenues collected across the globe. The story behind the book is based on a couple of stories. These stories are collected from various battlefields in history.

The book focuses at shedding light on a couple of matters. The story revolves around a number of groups entrusted with the role of saving various pieces of precious art. There is also another group entrusted with digging deeper into various culture bridging. These pieces of art are of very huge importance to the cultures form which they are to be collected from. This was after the First World War. The story goes on to venture into the Second World War.

The movie- Monuments Man is produced by the Columbia Pictures in conjunction with the 20 Cinemas. The two companies are one of best duos in filming industry. The cast of the film also boosts a number of great figures in the movie industry. These figures contribute a lot to the success of the plot and characterization. Each of the members in this crew plays a very critical role in making the story a success. The setting of the film and the characters in place complement each other.

The plot is basically based on one of the best treasure hunts in history. The treasure hunt could be actually argued to be the best in history of modern times as the events unfold. The drama mainly focuses on the events of Second World War. The men in battlefields were entrusted with saving the precious pieces of art from the enemy. They had to fight from various corners in order to regain what was rightfully theirs.

The mission of hunt later turned to be impossible. This is mainly because some of the soldiers within the camp were working for the enemy. The enemy had infiltrated the camp. This was done through paying off the soldiers in order to leak the classified information about the mission. The traitors use a couple of tricks to cover their tracks.

After some time, the hunting mission almost falls apart. This is when the soldiers realize that there are traitors among themselves. They have to lay a trap for the traitors or else the entire mission falls apart. Sooner than later, the traitors are caught with their pants down. They are then shamed. The enemy is then tricked and falls for the trap. He is captured and the stolen pieces of fine art recovered.

The story carries a number of lessons to the human race. The moral lessons intended by the authors are clearly passed along. The author employs a number of tactics so as to relay the message. The cast is broken down such that the best of talent is utilized. The setting of the story is also very great.

The monuments men book has a very complicated storyline. This calls for a very mature audience so as grasp the twists and turns. Critical and sober is also required in analysis of the story. The setting seems out of scope of young audience mainly because of the complicated plot.
