Knowing About Famous Italian Singers

There are so many famous Italian singers to be found on this very large planet. People everywhere love to listen to the music that these artists will record for entertainment purposes. Everyone knows that Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Luciano Pavarotti, Tony Bennett, Perry Como, Vic Damone and Frankie Laine were all great in their time.

A man known as "Ol Blue Eyes" was very popular within the entertainment industry decades ago. His stage name was Frank Sinatra and he performed great jazz and soul music for people everywhere. Sinatra spent many hours of the day entertaining lovely women and he even married several of them. Sinatra's brides were all actresses and they enjoyed living the movie star life.

Another very popular man was Mr. Dean Martin who was also an actor during most of his career. He would team up with the great Jerry Lewis to film several movies each year during the 1950's and all of these collaborations were very successful at the box office. Dean was also a great "ladies man" who loved to date many of the beautiful women who lived in California and New York.

People who live in Queens, New York are very proud of a man once known as Anthony Dominick Benedetto. Many fans who live over the globe know of him as Tony Bennett. This shorter name helped to push his career even further since people could remember it better. During the 50's and 60's this man was able to earn a great deal of money. Children in school consider him to be a great role model.

Perino Ronald Como is better known as "Perry Como" and he was a very popular singer born many years ago. He worked as a barber before signing with a major record company in 1943. He was the star of his own television variety show and has sold millions of records during his career. People could relate to this man since he was so "down to earth" and lived a very normal life.

Jerry Vale was born Gennaro Luigi Vitaliano in the Bronx, New York. He used to perform for family and friends as a child and had always wanted to sing professionally. His dream came true after an employer heard him singing while shining shoes. The employer liked what he heard and sent the young man to a music teacher and the rest is history.

There was a magical musical couple named Vic Damone and Diahann Carroll. They entertained all of their Hollywood friends on a daily basis with their unique singing style. Vito Rocco Farinola was Mr. Damone's birth name and he first made his entrance into the world in a borough called Brooklyn.

The late great Luciano Pavarotti was considered to be one of the greatest famous Italian singers. All of his fans loved him dearly and he was born in Italy. His voice was very loud and commanding each and every time he performed live. The world truly lost a legend when he died five years ago.
