Fabiola Sicily first can to the attention of the movie going public with her role as Jessica in the film Prom, by the Disney studio. But she was not a newcomer when she landed that role. She has been patiently carving a place for herself and today this beautiful star is on her way to become one of the Hollywood icons. Her hard work and her perseverance is finally paying off.
She was born and raised in Indonesia, but she is from a mixed Indonesian and European descent. She knew from a very early age that all she wanted and simply loved is performing. She took acting, dancing and singing lessons from an early age and soon landed a few roles in plays. Moving from Indonesia to California was a major step for her, but luckily one that proved correct.
She first made people sit up and take notice when she appeared on the television series Everyone Wants Theirs. The Disney Channel was quick to grab her for Joey and We Burning Up. With the success achieved through Disney, she landed an important supporting role in Brando Unauthorized, playing the character of Thanh. She quickly got offers to appear in Omission, What Goes Around Comes Around and Tattoo.
Even when she started to receive acclamations for her acting ability, she continued to brandish her other talents. She has completed several photographic shoots for various magazines and she has appeared in several music videos with, amongst others, Mick Jagger, VS Numbers and Michael Buble. She has even tried her hand at dubbing, bringing to life the character of the Princess in the movie Mongol Rise Genghis Kahn.
This young star is becoming rather busy. In 2013 she successfully completed A Malibu Horror, where she plays a prominent character named Erica. The movie promises to be a huge success and many critic have praised her performance. The year before she also received excellent reviews for her role as a young bank robber in the television movie Teenage Bank Heist.
One wonders why such a fuss is made of this relative new arrival in Hollywood. The critics love her, the studios adore her and she has built a large fan base in a very short period of time. Perhaps it is because she takes each role seriously and because she works very hard to make the part her own. Or perhaps it is because she has few pretensions and airs.
While just about everyone in the industry and the viewing public is sure that this actress is destined for bog things, she remains humble. Her only desire is to be given the chance to grow as an artist and to be given the opportunity to perform. She genuinely loves performing. Those that are supposed to have insider information say that she has already been made several attractive new offers.
Fabiola Sicily may have attracted attention in the first place with her beautiful looks but she very quickly proved that she is not just an empty headed pretty face. She has talent and she works hard at developing even further. There can be little doubt that the world will be hearing much more from her.
