How The Swedish Female Singer Manages To Outshine

By Shanna McNeil

The Swedish female singer has managed to maintain a clear dominance over her male counterparts when it comes to popular mass market music. Even on an international stage, these ladies have distinguished themselves. When one thinks of ABBA singing 'Dancing Queen' the mind immediately thinks of the two female singers and not the men. Their success at garnering fan attention has been phenomenal.

These women also appear to have been blessed with classic Scandinavian good looks. The main trend is blonde hair coupled with clear blue eyes. They also appear to be physically toned. Their excellent health and clear skin most likely coming from their enjoyment of outdoor activities. Hiking, fishing, swimming and skiing are all part of the culture in which these Swedish female singers are raised in.

The Swedes are well known for actively advocating for gender equality in all facets of life. From their government right to the homestead, women enjoy equal rights. At home and in the workplace, there is greater parity than anywhere else in the world. Because girls are raised in such an environment they learn to work hard to remain at par or better off than the men. They are well known to be hardworking and focused. This comes through to their fans that remain steadfastly loyal.

Their background has also allowed them to be comfortable in their appearance and abilities. They often carry the same confidence with them whenever they appear on a live stage. Many Swedish female singers take part in concert tours to promote their music and receive positive reviews from attendees.

Many popular musicians in the western world lead lavish lifestyles and make no secret of this fact. Unlike these stars in the entertainment world, most ladies in the singing industry lead a very humble lifestyle. Although their culture calls for hard work, it is frowned upon to be exorbitant and show off. As a socialist nation, the lifestyles of most citizens are at parity however much they earn financially. The country is very wealthy and all citizens benefit from this.

Together with this is the fact that the government does support the arts. In Sweden, going into a music career does not mean failure as is perceived in many other parts of the world. There are steady benefits paid to artists to ensure a comfortable living. With such support it is not surprising the women find they can make a good living from singing.

It is also noteworthy that there are a large number of Swedish female singers who specialize in the most popular music genres such as heavy metal and pop. They are fewer in other variations such as jazz and folk music. They have found great success in mass market music.

The Swedish female singer does not only make the most of the opportunities handed to her by virtue of culture and state, but also works very hard to market herself. Whether it is by going on a world tour or working in collaboration with foreign bands, the more exposure they get, the greater the popularity of these women. Their music can be found in music stores across the world and featured in movies.
