A few reasons why you must not view films, but read through books rather

By Aaron Freedman

Right from the most current novels, to the really new launches of movies based on books, it has been accepted that generally the books are a lot better than that of their film variations. With the exception of some really perfectly directed, interpreted as well as budgeted movies, more commonly than not, people who have read through the books, will find the film version extremely unsatisfying. Here's the reason why.

Films are interpretations.

When reading a book, your brain will automatically try and turn what you have read in a stunning picture you can realize. This means, that all the characters which you read about, and all the situations are all shown in your brain, for making your experience a lot more realistic and fascinating. Nevertheless, what has to be realized is that not everybody's idea of how the book appears is the same. The truth is, for a lot of book readers, nearly everyone's image is unique in one way or another! Hence, when a director tries to take a book, and then make it in a movie, he's strictly working from the interpretation of the film which he has set in his mind.

So now this signifies that when you are not enjoying a film for whatever reason, you are in fact, not enjoying the director's interpretation of the film. For example, if you imagined a character that you've read about in the book, to seem one way, and a director then selects an actor who feels another way, it might be hard to relate to him as much as the individual you previously envisioned. The reason being your brain, during the process of reading the book, made just what you thought the character might look like, to satisfy your reading style most effectively. Thus, if the actual character of the film appears different to how you first imagined, you will probably find him a lot less appealing.

Movies have budgets.

The significant variation between a movie and abook is the fact that a book will cost you significantly less to make compared to a complete movie. Although a book may perhaps just cost you a few thousand pounds to be written and published professionally, a few of the top films have got financial budgets of more than a million pounds, and yet are not regarded as great like their books. Regardless, many films which have made from numerous top quality books, have failed for being well authorized, because they were not financed sufficiently to be properly made. Consequently, although there was quite a lot of potential for the film version of the book to become a success, it in truth turned out to be a disaster, which eventually was unconsidered within the numerous of different blockbusters which have failed.

Books require additional thought.

Although films are in-essence handed down to you on a silver plate, books do require a certain amount of thought throughout. By doing this, you feel a lot more involved in the book, as you are picturing the circumstance for yourself, rather then viewing someone else's opinion on the story. As a result you rarely have to consider what is happening in the film and it is possible to usually expect the final result, before it has really happened. This generally spoils the entire plan of the storyline, and may usually leave spectators quite dissatisfied when they finish the picture, having not had any real surprise or actual pleasure throughout the movie. You may realize that lots of directors need to make use of gorgeous graphics and action sequences to entertain their viewers today, since their films are now far too expected to really experience any pleasure from the precise storyline of the movie.

But, while reading through a book, you might often see that you are skipping to the previous pages, since you never really understand how one will conclude, and you are constantly questioning the story plot when reading it. Books often contain the little specifics that equally make it a lot more fascinating and less obvious for the reader to predict the outcome, making reading the book completely, both advantageous as well as fascinating.

Books are relatively cheaper!

The final reason why books are generally deemed a lot better than their films is the fact that books are far inexpensive to buy and have a lot more to them. Therefore very often, you will probably have read a book, and then watched the film and noticed that the film has ignored many significant details which create the storyline. Therefore ultimately, by buying books you are both gaining more, and spending less as well. Even though it is worth mentioning, that while the books may be much less costly than the films, they are certainly extravagant in how much time they take to complete. On the other hand a film's regular run time is approximately 1 to 2 hours long.
