Why get the Skullcandy Agent Earphones?

By Barber Paul

When in the competitive market for a new set of headphones, you'll need to be aware of a few things, including the features it must offer, the designs it is available in, and what others say about it. We're checking out how the Skullcandy Agent Phones shape up under those elements.

Features

These Skullcandy headphones, like other earphones from the brand, feature a frequency range of 18 to 20,000 Hz, an impedance of 32 Ohms, a 1.2 m wire, and a gold plated 3.5 mm plug. Agent earphones also have neodymium iron boron (NdFeB) magnets on its 40 mm power drivers. With its hardware, these headphones offer loud and crisp sound output. They can handle a fair amount of bass, mids, and treble sounds, suggesting Agent phones can handle pretty much any idiom of music. Another thing that makes it different from the other earphones by Skullcandy is its oblong-shaped ear cups and the more sturdy and tangle-free nylon braided wire.

Designs

The Skullcandy Agent Phones come in a good range of designs and styles. Last year's additions to the line include Tokidoki (Japanese-inspired pop-art), Galactica, Retro Rings, KidRobot, and the Collegiate designs (BYU Cougars, Texas Longhorns, USC Trojans, and Florida Gators, among others). With these and the older versions of the earphones, you definitely have a large amount of options from which to choose.

Reviews

As previoulsy mentioned, there are a few models of Skullcandy Agent Headphones and reviews for each alter. At Amazon, buyer ratings for this Skullcandy line range all the way from 3 to 5 stars. Most customers are OK with the Agent's performance and robustness, though they do warn that wearing them for an extended period may be uncomfortable for your ears. They also note that the headphones aren't very effective in preventing ambient noise.

Everything taken under consideration, the Skullcandy Agent Phones present amazing value for your money since it's also cheap at a price bracket of US$ 49 to US$ 59. The Agent's decent sound quality, amazing spread of designs, and average to above average reviews mean you can rely on its performance and sturdiness. It doesn't hurt either that there's lots of options available, so you can select a design that is a match for your personal choices.
